Dear Member,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform members that the pool will be closed from 12pm today. This morning, following a routine weekly backwash procedure, our pool maintenance contractor has confirmed that a gate valve feeding the pool has seized in a closed position and subsequently broken beyond repair. The only option to replace this valve is to drain the pool.

We expect this work to take around 2 weeks, and a new valve is being sourced as a matter of urgency. During this time, the club will remain open as normal, with all other facilities available for use.

We have been in touch with Western Baths Club to request use of their pool during this closure period and await their response at this time. We will update you accordingly on this.
